Sneaky ways to get your kids to eat better
by Missy Chase Lapine the Sneaky Chef
Monkey see, monkey do. If you want to get your children to eat healthier and exercise more, let them see you doing just those things. Leading by example is always more effective than paying lip service. But we have to be realistic too, and take our kids from “where they’re at,” one step at a time, to where they need to go. A great transitional step is to hide some nutritious foods into the meals they already like to eat, like pureed sweet potatoes in lasagna, or even in desserts, like spinach puree in brownies. They’ll never know it’s in there, but they’ll get the nutrition all the same. Find out lots more at www.TheSneakyChef.com.
